WHAT WE DO

Principals retain Sovereign to perform comprehensive assessments when their estate, yacht, or aviation operations are underperforming. These operations often create friction, inefficiencies, and risks a principal can sense but may not fully see or understand. Assessments can be conducted for the estate, yacht, or aviation resources individually, or across multiple assets, based on the areas designated by the principal.

The assessment identifies areas most in need of change and improvement — and produces a written report with clear priorities to increase efficiency.

Sovereign evaluates decision-making, accountability, communication, vendor management, security, operating costs, and leadership — and how those systems shape the ownership and guest experience across every property and asset class.

WHO WE WORK WITH

Principals who sense the operation is underperforming and need an objective understanding of where breakdowns, problems and inefficiencies exist.

Private Principals
Individuals overseeing complex personal portfolios spanning estate, maritime, and aviation assets across multiple jurisdictions.
Family Offices
Multi-generational family offices seeking independent operational assessment and governance oversight of principal lifestyle assets.
Chiefs of Staff
Senior household executives responsible for coordinating multiple estates, vessels, and aviation programs who need expert operational perspective.
Estate Directors
Estate directors and property managers inheriting operations they did not build and seeking an independent assessment of what they are managing.
UHNW Families
Ultra-high-net-worth families whose lifestyle infrastructure has grown faster than the governance structures designed to manage it.
Multi-Residence Owners
Principals managing two or more significant residences who require consistent standards across geographies, vendors, and staff.
WHAT SOVEREIGN IS NOT
Not staffing services.

No placement fees. No staffing relationships. Nothing that compromises the objectivity of the assessment.

Not day-to-day management.

We do not replace the estate director, captain, or aviation team, or manage day-to-day logistics. Advisory only — never hands-on management.

Not project management.

No construction supervision. No renovation coordination. No vendor contracts. Advisory only.

PETER O’NEIL

Built from experience inside the environments Sovereign now serves.

Peter O’Neil’s career has been spent inside demanding private and luxury operations where standards are high, expectations are often unspoken, and execution is expected to appear effortless.

His foundation was built in hospitality and culinary operations, with experience at MIT in Boston, Old Marsh Golf Club in South Florida, Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod, and a stage at the Forbes Five-Star White Barn Inn in Maine. These environments established an early discipline around precision, consistency, preparation, and service at the highest level.

That foundation evolved into more than a decade working across private estates, superyachts, and multi-residence principal environments. His experience has taken him through Palm Beach, Jupiter, Southampton, Manhattan, Chelsea in London, Gladwyne, Boston, Cape Cod, the Bahamas, and international yachting operations.

Working directly inside these environments exposed Peter to far more than hospitality. He saw how residences open and close seasonally, how vendors and staff coordinate across properties, how yachts intersect with shoreside operations, how principals move between assets, and how seemingly minor communication or accountability failures can create disproportionate friction at the ownership level.

Over time, a pattern became clear.

The most persistent operational problems were rarely caused by a lack of capable people. They emerged in the spaces between people, properties, departments, and assets: unclear authority, fragmented information, inconsistent standards, weak accountability, and systems that depended too heavily on individual knowledge.

That observation became the foundation for Sovereign Lifestyle Systems.

Rather than adding another layer of management, Sovereign was created to independently examine the operation as a whole: identifying where friction originates, where responsibility becomes unclear, where systems are vulnerable, and where stronger governance can give the principal greater clarity, control, and confidence.

THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS

Every engagement begins with an on-site assessment.

Recommendations occur only after the operation has been thoroughly evaluated and understood.

See Estate, Yacht and Aviation for complete details on these assessments.
